Malgré le fait que nous avions abandonné cette captation vidéo il est resté une image, seule trace visuelle de notre séance de travail.

Matérialiser l’écriture : impression 3d

Toujours dans  l’idée de travailler la typo autrement qu’en 2 dimensions nous avons mener plusieurs expérimentations pour matérialiser l’écriture autrement:

 

-Dans le poste précédent (leap motion) nous avons mis en avant l’importance du geste. Celui ci crée le mot en le sculptant directement dans la « matière » 3D.

-Nous voulions essayer d’obtenir des phrases de typo (mots organes) qui serait transformées par la courbe de son de l’enregistrement audio de la séance de travail. Pour ça nous avons modéliser le texte sur Rhino et lui avons appliqué la courbe (extraite sur Audacity)

 

Dans les deux cas, pour matérialiser ces fichiers numériques nous avons  fait appelle aux connaissances techniques de nos directeurs de module et nous avons profité des possibilités de l’Unité Mobile de l’ENSAD et des ateliers techniques (atelier résine…)

 

Les impressions 3D obtenus ont été imprimées sur trois types de machines différentes (Ultimaker 2 – imprimante à déposé de fil / FormLab – imprimante stéréolithographie / imprimante cire et polymère de l’atelier résine). Elles offrent chacune des possibilités de rendus différents (taille/couleur/poids/matière/avec ou sans support…)
